Our Story

The Hawthorns Golf & Country Club is a private membership club located in Fishers, Indiana.

Our award-winning clubhouse is the social hub of club life and offers a variety of dining atmospheres for Members. Members also have access to an outdoor heated Junior Olympic pool, a fully equipped fitness center with cardio, weight resistance, free weight areas, childcare, a children's playground, men's and ladies' locker rooms, and six outdoor tennis courts. In addition, they have access to secure private meeting rooms with the assistance of a personalized party planner.

We are proud to offer our members a championship-level, 18-hole golf course including a full swing green grass driving range, practice chipping & pitching area, a practice putting green and a fully equipped Golf Shop with the latest in merchandise and equipment. Our illustrious golf course was designed by the world-renowned Arthur Hills.

The Club sponsors many social functions throughout the year including Romantic Valentine's Dinner, Ladies Luncheon & Fashion Show, Easter & Mother's Day Brunches, Independence Day Celebration, Music Under the Stars, Family Fall Festival, Father/Daughter Dance, Santa Brunch, Candlelight Dinners, and New Year's Celebrations just to name a few. The events allow our Members the opportunity to come together as a community, make new friends and enjoy activities exclusive to the country club lifestyle.

Guest Information

We look forward to serving you during your visit. Upon arrival, please drop your golf bag on the bag rack located at the end of the driveway and push the call button to alert our staff to carry your bag to the golf cart while you park the car. Please use our Locker Rooms to change your shoes and/or clothing.

 

Golf

All golfers are asked to check in with the Pro Shop upon arrival. Guests are welcome to visit the driving range prior to their round of golf. If you are using a cart, the Pro Shop staff will advise you of any special cart restrictions (i.e. cart paths only). Every group on the golf course must include at least one Member unless previous arrangements have been made with the Director of Golf. Divots on the fairways and ball marks on the greens must be replaced or repaired by the player after each shot.

Proper Dress

Golf attire is acceptable throughout the clubhouse with the exception of The Overlook Dining Room. Business club casual attire is suggested in the clubhouse for business meetings or private events. Denim is permitted in The Player’s Lounge Bar and in The Arbor Grill.

Acceptable golf attire: collared or mock turtleneck shirts (must be tucked in at all times). Shorts, Bermuda-length only, and slacks are permitted. Hats are allowed on the course but must be worn in the proper fashion (i.e. baseball style caps must have the brim facing forward).

Smoking Policy

The Hawthorns Golf & Country Club is a non-smoking facility. Smoking outposts are located around the exterior of the main clubhouse. Smoking will be permitted in the Men’s Locker Room Grill and on the golf course.

We want you to be totally comfortable during your visit. Please feel free to ask a staff Member for anything you need while at our Club and we will be happy to serve you.
